The Moody Foundation’s general grantmaking process supports organizations advancing its priorities in education, social services and family well-being, health and wellness, and the arts. The Foundation welcomes organizations of all sizes, from small community-based groups to large institutions and universities, with an emphasis on deep, sustained community impact. Its grants team assesses inquiries for alignment with current priorities, and trustees consider eligible applications.
Funding reaches communities statewide, with a key focus on Galveston, Austin, and Dallas and special attention to rural areas with less access to philanthropy. Specific programs and projects are preferred, although general operating and capital requests are also considered. This process is separate from the Education M-Pact Fund, which has its own application process and guidelines.
