Description

The Morrison County Area Foundation is a Partner Fund of the Initiative Foundation that develops and strengthens community resources for individuals, families, and organizations in Morrison County and the surrounding area. Its vision is to enhance community vitality and make Morrison County a desirable place to live, work, and raise a family.

Grants support three priorities: education that invests in informed and engaged citizens, programs addressing mental and physical health needs, and welcoming communities. Welcoming-community work includes strengthening community connectedness, improving community appearance, and supporting equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. The fund seeks to invest strategically in projects with the greatest impact on local quality of life. Local volunteers contribute knowledge and leadership through an advisory team, while the Initiative Foundation provides professional management, oversight, and guidance.
