Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) funds projects that support all-terrain vehicle (ATV), snowmobile, off-highway motorcycle, and four-wheel-drive recreation. For projects primarily benefiting ATV or snowmobile trails and facilities, eligible work includes planning, land acquisition, development, rehabilitation, maintenance, equipment for maintenance and construction, and training and education.
Projects primarily benefiting other motorized recreation can fund development, rehabilitation, maintenance, equipment for maintenance and construction, and training and education. ATV and snowmobile projects are primarily supported through state restricted accounts; DCNR may supplement awards with federal Pennsylvania Recreational Trails Program funding. Other motorized recreation projects are primarily supported through that federal program.
