Description
The Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation offers this local grantmaking program through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO). It supports projects addressing the Mountain Grove area’s most important community needs and improving residents’ quality of life. Its flexible approach reflects local priorities, with a board selected for its knowledge of the area and a grant committee responsible for funding decisions.
The program favors projects benefiting a larger number of individuals and gives preference to organizations using Foundation support as a matching grant alongside local fundraising. Grantmaking is supported by charitable donors who establish unrestricted or field-of-interest funds and entrust decisions to local leaders, as well as funds raised by the Mountain Grove Area Community Foundation.
