This grant supports researchers at the "transition to independence" stage, enabling them to lead innovative biomedical research projects within the Medical Research Council (MRC) remit. The scheme aims to advance understanding of human health and disease, focusing on discovery and early translational research that drives new insights into disease causes and mechanisms, accelerates diagnosis, advances treatment, and helps prevent illness.
