    Description

MSCA Doctoral Networks 2027 is a Horizon Europe programme supporting international doctoral research and training partnerships. Universities, research institutions, research infrastructures, businesses including SMEs, and other socio-economic actors develop programmes responding to identified research and innovation needs. Research topics are chosen bottom-up, with training centred on original research through personalised doctoral projects.

The programme combines international, interdisciplinary and cross-sector experience with training for careers within and beyond academia. Priorities include high-quality supervision, mentoring and career guidance, digital skills, Open Science, research integrity and knowledge valorisation. Networks can operate as standard Doctoral Networks, Industrial Doctorates or Joint Doctorates. Participating organisations are expected to strengthen their research capacity, improve doctoral training and establish sustainable cooperation across sectors and disciplines.
