Description
The MTF Biologics Allograft Research Award is a cooperative program of Osteo Science Foundation and MTF Biologics. It supports research on hard and soft tissue regeneration in Oral and CranioMaxillofacial Surgery, focusing on bone allograft in particulate or fiber form. Projects must use allografts or allograft-derived materials, address clinically relevant questions, and include a strong clinical translation plan to advance transplantation science and patient care.
Research interests include combining allografts with biomaterials, biologics, or composites; novel uses of human cell and tissue products and tissue-derived extracellular matrices; techniques and technologies enhancing allograft properties; and exosomes in allograft tissues. Other interests include allograft scaffolds for biological combinations, tissue engineering and regenerative medicine, and AI, precision medicine, molecular biology, or genomics for treatment algorithms and patient-matched therapies. Vallos® is the preferred material, to be provided by MTF Biologics.
