Key Information: Applicants must be ACMT members in good standing.
The Medical Toxicology Foundation (MTF), the philanthropic arm of the American College of Medical Toxicology (ACMT), operates this discretionary fund for requests that do not fit the timeframes or guidelines of its existing research grants and travel scholarships. It provides a way to consider unmet project costs, including research and toxicology training work for which institutional, departmental, or other support is unavailable.
Projects must be consistent with the mission of MTF or ACMT. The Foundation’s mission includes advancing research and education in the prevention and treatment of harm from drugs, chemicals, and natural toxins, and building the research capacity of the medical toxicology workforce. Illustrative requests include patient survey costs, laboratory analysis to establish proof of concept, and programming assistance for simulation-based toxicology training assessment.
