Description
The Michigan Translational Research & Commercialization (MTRAC) Innovation Hub for Advanced Applied Materials accelerates the commercial development of materials-based technologies that address unmet market needs. Administered by Michigan Technological University and funded by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation, this program supports projects such as prototype development, process scale-up, and device/system advances with clear commercial applications. Awardees receive milestone-driven funding, expert guidance from an Oversight Committee of commercialization professionals, and access to entrepreneurial training and business development support. The program is designed to help researchers achieve critical steps toward market readiness and follow-on funding.
