Key Information: Fellows must return home within three months and work at their Home Institution for at least three years.
The Muhammad Magdi Yaqoob Fellowship, administered by the International Society of Nephrology (ISN), offers young nephrologists six months of training at the Royal London Hospital. The fellowship fund was established in collaboration with Barts Health NHS Trust to honor Professor Yaqoob’s lifetime commitment to global kidney care and education.
The opportunity is part of ISN’s capacity-building Fellowship Program, which helps physicians in low-resource settings access essential nephrology training unavailable at their Home Institution or in their country. Training should address unmet needs at home and equip fellows to improve local care, train colleagues, and establish new services. Since 1985, ISN Fellowships have supported more than 800 nephrologists from 100 low-resource countries.
