Description
PennDOT’s Multimodal Transportation Aviation Funding (MMTA) supports public airports as part of its work to promote, develop, and preserve Pennsylvania’s airport system. The program covers safety improvements and pavement preservation that may increase aircraft activity, as well as hangar development intended to increase economic development.
MMTA can also provide supplemental funding for approved State Aviation Development Program projects, technical assistance, and Governor’s discretionary funding for aviation special projects or other work considered important to sustaining aviation in Pennsylvania.
