This opportunity funds ambitious, multinational, and translational research projects under the European Partnership for Brain Health. The focus is on understanding how biological, social, and environmental factors influence brain health and the trajectory of neurological, mental, and sensory disorders across the lifespan. Projects must be collaborative, interdisciplinary, and address at least two of the three factors (biological, social/lifestyle, environmental) and two of the following aspects: mechanisms, early recognition/diagnosis/prognosis, or prevention/treatment/interventions. Proposals should integrate basic and clinical research, involve patient and public organizations, and leverage European research infrastructures. Diversity, equity, and inclusion considerations, as well as sex/gender differences, are mandatory.
