Description
This Fulbright U.S. Scholar award supports full-time teaching, full-time research, combined teaching/research, and professional projects in Oman. Scholars may propose their own research and undergraduate or graduate courses, or undertake work designated by the host institution. Activities can also include student mentoring, faculty development, and curriculum or program development. Professional projects support host organizations’ development objectives through consultations, practical experience, public lectures, artist residencies, or related activities.
The Fulbright Scholar Program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and administered with the Institute of International Education (IIE). This award advances international understanding through scholarly exchange and engagement with host communities. Teaching/research proportions are agreed with the host rather than prescribed by the award.
