This award offers U.S. scholars the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses or engage in a combination of teaching and research at higher education institutions across the United Arab Emirates. Awardees will work with diverse and well-resourced academic communities, contributing through teaching, curriculum development, advising student and faculty research, and sharing expertise with local audiences. The program aims to foster intellectual exchange and strengthen relationships between the U.S. and UAE. Scholars may propose their own host institution and area of specialization, and the Flex option allows for multiple short-term stays over a two-year period if required by the project.
