Description
Murco Foundation Grants support nonprofit organizations serving the greater Wausau area and Marathon County, Wisconsin. The program focuses on advancing education and the arts in the community, providing locally directed support for projects addressing these two priorities rather than a broader statewide funding program.
The grants are administered through the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, while the Murco Foundation board of directors reviews applications annually. This arrangement combines the Community Foundation’s administrative support with the Murco Foundation’s annual review. Applicants should consider both the program’s geographic focus and its education and arts priorities when assessing whether their proposed work fits.
