Description
The Murdock College Science Research Program (MCSRP), administered by the M.J. Murdock Charitable Trust, strengthens faculty and undergraduate student research in the natural sciences at private, four-year liberal arts colleges in the Pacific Northwest. It supports institutions with the capacity to develop division-wide faculty-student research programs that can be sustained through institutional resources and external funding. Collaborative research and lasting institutional support are central to the program.
Alongside its grants, the Trust hosts the annual Murdock College Science Research Conference. This invitation-only conference provides a setting for sharing and advancing new knowledge created or discovered through collaborative faculty-student research in the natural sciences. It features speakers and presents awards to research programs from around the region.
