--- ## Description The Nakanishi Prize honors individuals who have made outstanding contributions in extending chemical and spectroscopic methods to the study of important biological phenomena. Established in 1995, the award alternates annually between the American Chemical Society (ACS) in the United States (odd-numbered years) and the Chemical Society of Japan (even-numbered years).
