The fellowship provides early-career academic professionals with a focus on state health policy the opportunity to participate directly in evidence-based health care and public health studies conducted by the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. Fellows gain hands-on experience in shaping health policy at the state level, network with leading experts, and receive mentorship from a National Academy of Medicine (NAM) member. The program is designed to advance the fellow’s professional and academic career and to foster leadership in state health policy.
