Description
The NASA Hubble Fellowship Program (NHFP) is one of the most prestigious postdoctoral fellowships in astrophysics, administered by the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) for NASA. The program enables exceptionally promising early-career researchers to pursue independent, innovative research in any area of NASA Astrophysics—including theoretical, observational, experimental, or instrument development work. Fellows may choose their U.S. host institution (subject to eligibility and institutional quotas) and join a vibrant community advancing the frontiers of astrophysics. The program honors the legacy of the previous Hubble, Einstein, and Sagan Fellowships; each fellow is designated as an Einstein, Hubble, or Sagan Fellow, depending on the alignment of their research with NASA’s core science questions.
