Description
The Alaska Space Grant Program (ASGP) sponsors selected students participating in NASA summer internships. NASA manages recruitment and competitive internship selection, while ASGP provides sponsorship. Opportunities serve undergraduate and graduate students primarily in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, with opportunities also available in other disciplines.
NASA’s Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) internships provide short-term, hands-on experience working on agency projects under NASA mentors. Students develop technical and professional skills, strengthen career readiness, and contribute to NASA’s work in science, technology, aeronautics, and space exploration. Students can explore opportunities across NASA centers and apply for multiple internships through NASA’s application system.
