Description
The NASPA Foundation’s small research grant supports studies of contemporary, significant issues in student affairs. The program seeks research that discovers new knowledge, applies theory to practice, or advances innovation, with potential to inform the profession. Projects should relate to at least one of NASPA’s guiding principles: integrity, innovation, inclusion, and inquiry.
The program welcomes theoretical, applied, quantitative, qualitative, mixed-methods, and historical research. Funding is for the direct costs of conducting a study, rather than conference participation or institutional overhead. Recipients are expected to share their findings through a NASPA conference presentation or a NASPA journal publication.
