Description
The Nathan Cummings Foundation supports organizations and proximate changemakers working toward racial, economic, and environmental justice. Its grants can help explore emerging solutions, sustain project-based work, scale promising approaches, or provide longer-term unrestricted support to closely aligned partners. The foundation also offers program-related investments (PRIs), which are expected to return some or all capital under agreed terms.
The foundation is particularly interested in work taking place in or focused on the U.S. South. Its priorities span civic engagement and the racial wealth gap; worker power, housing, access to capital, and monopoly power; and environmental harms, an inclusive green economy, and regenerative economic models.
