The Administration for Community Living (ACL), within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, plans to fund one cooperative agreement to operate a National Adult Protective Services Training Center (NATC). The center will build the capacity of adult protective services (APS) professionals and strengthen the organizations that recruit, train, supervise, manage, and retain them. Its goal is to improve the safety and well-being of people experiencing adult maltreatment.
The NATC will create multiple modes of online learning and deliver training through a web-based learning management system. Training will promote evidence-informed practice, support leadership development, and improve APS agency organization, culture, and climate.
