Description
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) administers the National Highway System (NHS) Asset Management Program through Local Programs. The program incentivizes agencies to use asset management strategies that provide cost-effective preservation solutions and maximize roadway life expectancy. Its emphasis is on preserving the roadway system and extending the useful life of pavement.
The application asks agencies to connect proposed construction work to existing pavement distress and explain how treatment will improve International Roughness Index (IRI) and Pavement Condition Index (PCI) scores.
