Description
This opportunity provides a cooperative agreement to support the Indian Health Service (IHS) mission of improving healthcare for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) communities through national outreach and education. The program aims to promote awareness, visibility, training, technical assistance, and education in key health areas, including health education and outreach, rural health transformation, substance abuse and suicide prevention, domestic violence prevention, diabetes education, tribal budget formulation, and youth health advisory activities. The awardee will partner closely with IHS throughout the project to develop and deliver effective outreach and education strategies, with the ultimate goal of improving health outcomes among AI/AN populations.
