Description
This opportunity supports the continuation and expansion of the National Mesothelioma Virtual Bank (NMVB), a resource established to advance biomedical research in malignant mesothelioma. The NMVB provides centralized access to biospecimens (including tumor tissues, blood, DNA, RNA, and protein samples) and associated demographic and clinical data. The aim is to expand the repository and enhance its utility for researchers and clinicians developing early detection methods, biomarkers, and new or improved treatments for mesothelioma. The cooperative agreement will support the addition of new biospecimens and data, as well as improvements in data sharing and resource accessibility.
