Description
This scheme is a major bilateral initiative between the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC), designed to fund large-scale, cross-disciplinary, and cross-institutional research collaborations between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong. The goal is to foster synergy, enhance research output, and maximize impact in both regions. Supported projects must align with at least one of six priority areas: Information Technology, Life Science, New Materials Science, Marine and Environmental Science, Medicine, and Management Science. Proposals are evaluated on scientific merit, innovation, collaborative synergy, and long-term potential.
