Description
This scheme is designed to foster significant, interdisciplinary, and inter-university collaborative research between Hong Kong and Chinese Mainland researchers. Supported by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council (RGC) and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), it aims to enhance scientific output and impact in both regions. Projects must focus on one or more of six key areas: Information Technology, Life Science, New Materials Science, Marine and Environmental Science, Medicine, and Management Science. The scheme emphasizes synergy, innovation, and complementary strengths between participating institutions.
