Description
This funding opportunity will support the development and dissemination of education, training, and technical assistance—focusing on prevention strategies—for clinicians and disease intervention specialists to enhance sexually transmitted infection (STI) patient care. The goal is to improve the capacity of providers, clinical sites, and healthcare systems to diagnose, manage, treat, and counsel individuals with and at risk for STIs. Ultimately, the program aims to reduce STI morbidity and improve health outcomes at individual, local, and national levels.
