    Description

This opportunity from the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) supports a broad range of transformative activities in open science, focusing on advancing sustainable, multi-disciplinary findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable (FAIR) research data management (RDM) and open science capabilities. The program encourages proposals that pilot new models of scientific communication, develop data portals and research data commons, and lower barriers to accessing, curating, integrating, managing, sharing, and storing data across diverse scientific domains. Proposals must focus on either Disciplinary Improvements (targeted to specific scientific communities) or Cross-Cutting Improvements (applicable to many or most disciplines) and are expected to be collaborative, community-oriented, and multidisciplinary.
