Description
This grant program, administered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), provides funding to nonprofit organizations that primarily serve and represent Native Hawaiians. The goal is to help these organizations sustain, enhance, or improve library and archival services tailored to their communities’ unique needs. Projects may include educational programming, oral history collection, digitization, technology enhancements, professional development, institutional planning, and more. The program supports organizations in developing, disseminating, or strengthening practices, programs, models, tools, or staff training that benefit Native Hawaiian communities.
