Description
The NATO Contribution Program is the mechanism through which the Canada Department of National Defence (DND) fulfills Canada’s annual financial obligations to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). These contributions support NATO’s collective military budget, the Security Investment Program (NSIP) for infrastructure and strategic projects, and other Alliance activities. Through this program, Canada gains access to advanced military infrastructure, strategic information, and the opportunity to participate in high-level decision-making and joint operations with allied nations.
