Description
The Novo Nordisk Foundation awards this annual prize to recognize exceptional science teaching at upper secondary schools in the Danish Realm. It highlights teachers whose work strengthens young people’s interest and motivation in science and technology, particularly through inspiring teaching methods, sharing effective practices, activities beyond the classroom, and collaboration across subjects or stages of education.
The prize recognizes a teacher or a team of up to three teachers from the same school. Alongside the personal award, it provides funding for the school to develop its science teaching. The Foundation’s Committee on the Teaching Prizes selects the recipient from nominated candidates.
