Description
The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), the Navy’s corporate laboratory, seeks long-range science and technology projects through this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). The program supports basic research, applied research, and advanced technology development directed toward maritime applications of improved materials, techniques, equipment, and systems. Work may range from theoretical studies to proof-of-concept research and prototype fabrication and delivery, within the BAA’s research scope.
Research must address the specific Summary Topics in Appendix 1. These span systems research, materials science and component technology, ocean and atmospheric science and technology, and space systems. NRL seeks innovative approaches that advance scientific understanding and offer potential improvements for Navy and Marine Corps operations. This announcement is not for acquiring technical, engineering, or other support services.
