Description
NBCUniversal Local Impact Grants provide unrestricted general operating support to nonprofit organizations in 11 NBC and Telemundo-owned television station markets. The program focuses on three main areas:
- Youth Education and Empowerment: In-school and community-based programs, particularly those emphasizing STEM/STEAM education and youth entrepreneurship.
- Next Generation Storytellers: Initiatives that foster pathways for emerging talent and amplify youth voices in communications, arts, news, sports, and entertainment.
- Community Engagement: Programs that unite communities through volunteerism and local engagement.
The goal is to recognize and support organizations making a measurable difference in their local communities.
