    Description

The National Bureau of Economic Research’s Innovation Information Initiative (i3) is a data collaborative focused on open innovation data and related analytics, tools, and metrics. Its fourth Open Data Fellows cohort supports researchers in economics, innovation, entrepreneurship, and related fields who contribute new datasets, tools, code, or metadata. Both new projects and existing work under development are welcome, with public dissemination as the primary project requirement.

The program aims to broaden the resources accessible to the innovation research community and help a new generation of researchers produce high-quality, reusable data and code. Fellows work in a supportive, collaborative setting with periodic individual and group meetings for guidance and progress sharing. The program is intended not to be a major time commitment and includes opportunities for current and former fellows to attend and present their work at future NBER conferences.
