    Description

    This program supports short-term research projects focused on Russia, Central Asia, the Caucasus, and the Balkans. The funding is intended to facilitate access to research resources in these regions, support refresher visits for ongoing research, enable research planning with local colleagues, and assist in the creation of databases and research aids. Projects must be relevant to United States policy toward the covered regions. Grantees are required to submit regular reports, and research may be considered for publication in the journal Problems of Post-Communism.
