Description
This program is designed to support early career teachers of color as they build accomplished teaching careers in literacy education. Over a two-year period, recipients receive mentorship, participate in a professional development institute, and gain opportunities to present at the NCTE Annual Convention and collaborate with national leaders in the field. The award emphasizes leadership development, professional networking, and recognition for excellence in literacy education.
