Description
Established in 2017 and administered by the Community Foundation of North Central Washington (CFNCW), this grant supports programs that directly benefit youth ages 18 and under in Chelan and Douglas counties. Special consideration goes to programs that reach many young people or provide opportunities they otherwise could not access or afford.
The program emphasizes direct youth benefits rather than general operations or staffing. Previously funded activities include in-state field trips, afterschool programs, transportation to events, youth programming supplies, participation scholarships, food and clothing, and equipment that improves safety or accessibility. Its goal is to remove financial barriers and expand access to recreational, educational, and other youth-centered opportunities.
