The Internet Society’s Network and Distributed System Security (NDSS) Fellowship helps full-time students participate in person in the NDSS Symposium. It encourages students from diverse communities to engage with the symposium while bridging the gap between research and advocacy. The program aims to equip participants with skills and contacts for the next steps in their network and distributed systems security careers, whether in academia, government, civil society, or the private sector.
The fellowship combines symposium participation with training and engagement before and after the event. Participants learn about the Internet Society’s mission, connect with relevant stakeholders, and contribute to shared goals for an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet. Student fellowships are awarded by the NDSS Student Support Committee, and the Internet Society delivers the program.
