The Neighborhood Grants Program (NGP) is an initiative of the Community Foundation for Monterey County (CFMC) that provides financial and technical support to grassroots, resident- or community-led groups for projects or activities that enhance the quality of life in local neighborhoods. The program is designed to empower residents to collectively address unmet community needs, foster local leadership, encourage broad participation, and achieve lasting positive impacts in Monterey County communities. Priority is given to groups serving areas with the greatest needs and fewest opportunities, including Salinas Valley, South County, Salinas, North County, Seaside, Marina, and rural or unincorporated regions.
