Description
The Neighborhood Grants Program, administered by the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois (CFNIL), aims to empower local residents to take leadership in strengthening their neighborhoods. The program funds projects that promote resident participation, foster partnerships, and create tangible, positive change within defined neighborhoods. Typical projects include community gardens, beautification, cleanups, crime prevention, neighborhood events, newsletters, and reforestation efforts.
