Description
The Music Library Association (MLA) runs this grant as part of its international outreach efforts. It provides financial support for projects or proposals that assist music libraries and archives, or support music librarians and archivists, in disadvantaged countries. The grant honors Neil Ratliff’s leadership in MLA and the International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML).
Support may include travel to regional IAML meetings or international congresses; educational and instructional projects that enhance services, collections, and access; and innovative uses of technology that improve collaboration and communication among colleagues. MLA also welcomes other ideas creatively proposed for the grant’s outreach purpose.
