Description
The Nelsonville Community Foundation, in partnership with the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and the Osteopathic Heritage Foundation, offers annual grants to support projects and programs that enhance the well-being and development of the communities of Nelsonville, Buchtel, Carbon Hill, and Murray City. Funding is awarded to nonprofits, schools, and public organizations, with an emphasis on initiatives that advance opportunities in arts and culture, community and economic development, education, environmental stewardship, and health and human services.
Projects may focus on a wide range of community needs, from supporting youth arts and education, health and wellness programs, and food security initiatives, to community beautification, economic opportunity, and more.
