Description
NephCure’s Pilot Grant Program supports investigator-initiated studies that use CureGN and/or NEPTUNE resources to advance clinical and translational research in glomerular disease. Open to scientists within and outside these consortia, the program supports work such as generating feasibility data for promising future studies, developing clinical assays or protocols, and conducting early-phase clinical trials.
The program emphasizes collaboration between consortium and external investigators, multidisciplinary integration, sharing, and research networks. Meritorious projects use or expand the consortia’s clinical data, biomaterials, infrastructure, and other shared resources to benefit other investigators. Projects should help advance glomerular disease science and improve patient care, while supporting the sharing of new data, specimens, and infrastructure for future studies.
