--- ## Description The Mayo Clinic Neuroanesthesiology Fellowship is a highly specialized, one-year clinical program based in Rochester, Minnesota. The fellowship offers comprehensive training in perioperative care for both adult and pediatric patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures, including intracranial, spine, and peripheral nerve surgeries. Fellows also gain experience in anesthesia management for diagnostic and therapeutic neuroradiology procedures, as well as critical care in the Neurology/Neurosurgery Intensive Care Unit. The program is designed for flexibility to accommodate individual interests and career goals, and emphasizes mentorship, didactic education, and scholarly activity. Upon completion, fellows receive a certificate from the Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education. --- ## Due Dates - Application deadline: July 31, 2025 (for fellowship position starting July 2026) - Interviews are conducted July through September each year. --- ## Funding Amount - The fellowship is a full-time, salaried position for 12 months. - Fellows receive the standard Mayo Clinic Graduate Medical Education stipend and full benefits for the duration of the program. - Only one fellowship position is available per year. --- ## Eligibility - Applicants must have completed an accredited residency in general anesthesiology by the start of the fellowship. - All necessary qualifying and licensure exams must be completed as appropriate for the applicant’s country and training. - Non-U.S. citizens must meet the requirements for a United States visa. - See [general admissions requirements](https://college.mayo.edu/academics/residencies-and-fellowships/admissions-and-benefits/) for further details. --- ## Application Process 1. After submission, complete any supplemental items and recommendation requests as indicated. 4. Selected applicants will be invited for a personal interview with the program director and selected faculty (interviews held July–September). 5.
