Description
The Neuroradiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, is a one-year, ACGME-accredited program designed to provide comprehensive, hands-on training in all aspects of adult and pediatric neuroradiology. Fellows gain expertise in advanced neuroimaging techniques (including high-resolution MRI, fMRI, MRS, MR and CT angiography, perfusion studies), as well as procedural skills such as fluoroscopic-guided lumbar punctures, myelograms, CT-guided spine biopsies, and interventional cerebral and spinal angiography. The program offers formal didactic sessions, multidisciplinary conferences, journal clubs, and opportunities to participate in national meetings and research. Training is conducted in a high-volume, academically rigorous environment under the mentorship of over 50 specialized neuroradiologists, preparing graduates for both private practice and academic careers.
