Description
Mayo Clinic’s one-year, ACGME-accredited Neuroradiology Fellowship in Rochester, Minnesota, combines adult and pediatric clinical training with research and teaching. Fellows train in high-resolution MRI, fMRI, MRS, MR and CT angiography, and perfusion imaging. Procedural experience includes fluoroscopic-guided lumbar punctures, myelograms, CT-guided spine biopsies, and cerebral and spinal interventional angiography.
The high-volume academic program prepares fellows for private practice or academic careers through one-on-one supervision, case-by-case feedback, formal teaching, multidisciplinary conferences, and journal clubs. Faculty expertise spans head and neck imaging, oncology, temporal bone disease, pediatric neuroradiology, epilepsy, neurovascular disease, and spine imaging. Research opportunities also include dementia imaging, advanced imaging technology, and clinical applications of new tools.
