Description
Mayo Clinic School of Graduate Medical Education offers this one-year fellowship in Rochester, Minnesota, for advanced training across the full spectrum of spinal surgery. Fellows work closely with five core faculty members in a practice performing more than 1,500 spinal procedures annually. Training covers adult deformity, degenerative disease, spinal oncology, trauma, and minimally invasive surgery, with the goal of developing confident surgeons with sound clinical judgment and refined technical skills.
Clinical and translational research complements operative training. Fellows join ongoing projects tailored to their interests and background, while research electives involve a mentored project supervised by the program director. Collaboration with orthopedic spine surgery, oncology, neuroradiology, and rehabilitation medicine builds experience in multidisciplinary care.
