Description
The International Furnishings and Design Association Educational Foundation (IFDA-EF) created the New Chapter Development Grant to help newly established IFDA chapters present educational programming. The grant supports chapters in their responsibility to educate, enhance, and promote the furnishings and design industry and the practice of these professions. Programs should benefit current members while introducing the chapter to prospective members in the wider design community.
Supported events may include workshops, seminars, panel discussions, or speaker presentations addressing current home furnishings industry issues. Suggested topics include business practices, universal design, sustainability, local design resources, and new building codes. The educational program must provide visibility for the new chapter, IFDA, and its Educational Foundation.
