Description
The New England Presenter Travel Fund is administered by the New England Foundation for the Arts (NEFA) and fully supported by federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts. It helps curatorial staff at presenting organizations attend festivals, showcases, conferences, and other cultural events to research artistic work they may bring to New England communities.
The program aims to broaden nonprofit New England arts presenters’ experience and knowledge, increase the diversity of artists presented in the region, and expand presenters’ national and international reach. Priority goes to staff with limited access to other artistic research funding, trips that maximize the number of artists, works, and genres seen, and conferences with strong showcasing components.
