Description
The New England States Touring (NEST) Grant funds New England-based nonprofit organizations to present public performances, readings, and screenings by NEST-eligible regional artists from across the six New England states. The program aims to enhance access to high-quality artistic experiences, foster community engagement, and support the sustainability of New England artists. NEST 1 supports projects where the artist and presenter are from different New England states, while NEST 2 supports collaborative tours involving one presenter from the artist’s home state and one from a different state. Projects are selected through a competitive process that prioritizes meaningful artist-community engagement, cross-sector partnerships, and expanding access to the arts, especially in rural and BIPOC communities.
